Onboarding Team Lead
Salary: Competitive

Overview
Our client, an international law firm, is looking for an Onboarding Team Lead to support its legal onboarding operations while providing day-to-day management and development for a small team of apprentices.
The role combines people management with technical onboarding responsibilities, including sanctions screening, resolving system issues, maintaining information barriers, and supporting continuous process improvement. You will also work with the wider business on projects designed to improve onboarding operations and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day line management and support for three apprentice coordinators.
- Support apprentices with annual leave, sickness absence, and their Level 3 Business Administration qualifications.
- Provide operational cover for study leave, annual leave, and other onboarding coordination activities.
- Carry out sanctions searches using updates from relevant regulators.
- Investigate and resolve errors within the client onboarding and intake system, working with relevant systems teams.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating and implementing changes to onboarding processes and systems.
- Maintain information barriers and insider lists to protect confidential and price-sensitive client information.
- Support wider onboarding and business services projects.
