Operations Team Manager

The Operations Team Manager at Debenhams Group, Sheffield Distribution site is responsible for leading a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring operational excellence within their department.

Working Hours

  • Sunday - Thursday, 07:00am - 15:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of team members
  • Set and communicate performance expectations and goals
  • Monitor and evaluate team members' performance
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members
  • Foster effective communication within the team
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues
  • Address and resolve operational challenges and escalations
  • Maintain accurate records of team performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
  • Efficiently allocate and manage team resources
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment
  • Coordinate training programs and onboarding activities
  • Generate and analyze reports on team KPIs

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar supervisory or team management role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
