Operations Team Member
Location - Mells, Somerset
Salary starts from £30,701 + benefits
Shift Patterns are 6:00am to 2:00pm & 2:00pm to 10:00pm (with a 10% shift allowance paid for working 2:00pm to 10:00pm)
Hours - 40 hrs / week, Monday to Friday, no weekend work unless required, at which point a time and a half overtime rate is paid.

Our Operations
Our operations are organised into three distinct divisions: Landscape Products, Building Products, and Roofing Products. Sat within Building Products is Marshalls Civils & Drainage, with two sites in Mells & Pollington.
Civils & Drainage
Marshalls Civils & Drainage partners with customers to design, engineer and manufacture precast solutions that support critical infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Our engineering-led approach combines technical expertise with innovative manufacturing to deliver integrated solutions that are safer to install, built to last and designed to perform for decades. The Role
We're now looking for an Operations Team Member to join our Manufacturing team at Mells, Somerset.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties relating to the efficient production of high-quality concrete drainage and associated products.
- Be trained in and required to use a range of hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment.
- Work in an environment where safety, quality and efficiency are key to yours and the company's ongoing success.
Mission-Critical Skills
- Ideally have previous experience or understanding of working within a Manufacturing Production environment.
- Team player with attention to detail and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Good communication skills (teamwork is key to our success).
- An understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
- An understanding and appreciation of how an efficient way of working can impact the success of any business.
- Current FLT licence (desirable but not essential) - Lapsed tickets can and will be renewed for the successful applicants.
