Operations Team Member
Sittingbourne
£33,872 per annum (including shift allowance) + benefits
42 hrs per week
Shift Pattern is 12 hours days / nights rotating with only 1 Saturday morning every 3 weeks and 4 consecutive days off every 2 out of 3 weeks (further details provided in the advert below)

About the Role
Manufacturing is at the heart of our operation, it's where we fulfil the customer promise and it’s within this successful team at Marshalls that we’re recruiting for Operations Team Members.
The Mission
You will work as part of a team to manufacture high-quality concrete products using operational techniques whilst ensuring you deliver to site standards for safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets. You'll predominantly work within the Concrete Block Paving department, operating press machinery, hand-powered tools and mobile plant such as Forklift trucks to move stock around the site.
Shift Pattern
- 2 Days on, 1 day off, 2 nights on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 1 half-day (Saturday Morning), 1 day off, 3 nights on, 4 days off
- Our shifts run from 6.30AM - 6.30PM / 6.30PM - 6.30AM or 6.30AM - 12.30PM on a Saturday half-day shift.

Mission-Critical Skills
- Experience of operating in a medium / large manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality standards, housekeeping standards etc. is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) would be an advantage
- Forklift truck license and experience would be advantageous
- The role requires the ability to safely carry out tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Flexibility on shift rotation or night shift experience will be required
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Safe to Supervise or IOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential
