Operative
Business Unit: 5042 - Worcester
Location: Bromsgrove
Summary
To carry out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations. Able to work with crews on specific jobs and ensure work is carried out to specification. Manage safety with team and complete all necessary reporting, paper or electronic. Where required, to respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours, and assist with winter maintenance.
Travel will be to a normal place of work and other depots or sites throughout the county as and when required. Travel outside of the contract may be required at times.

- Prepared to participate fully in teamwork
- Prepared to work varying hours to meet the needs of the business
- Willingness to apply skills to a variety of tasks, with changing team members, providing support to others
- Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training and qualifications
- Able to complete record sheets, paper or electronic
- Able to take responsibility for plant, equipment, and vehicle defect inspections
- To understand and be responsible for their own safety and that of others
- To be available for emergency and/or winter call outs
