Job Description

Teledyne e2v is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of specialised components and subsystems. These products enable some of the world's leading OEMs to deliver innovative systems for medical and science, aerospace, defence and industrial and commercial applications.

Detailed Description

  • The achievement of personal production targets.
  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Adhering to the quality standards that have been laid out within the production cells.
  • Contributing towards maintaining the various metrics used to monitor the production cell’s performance.
  • Manufacturing product in line with the standard operating times for that product.
  • Identifying constraints within the production cell.
  • Working as part of a team but also autonomously.
  • Being capable of managing your own time and workload efficiently.
  • Using our SAP system to carry out various transactions as part of the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a team and able to work on own.
  • Attention to detail and quality mind-set.
  • Flexible approach to work and a willingness to move to other areas within the department
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow engineering drawings and technical instructions.
  • Ability to manipulate small complex parts repeatedly and with precision.
  • Experience with SAP (manufacturing planning system)
  • Competent using Microsoft Excel and Word
