Our Hull branch is seeking an ambitious and proactive Operator to join our successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong operational background in freight forwarding who is keen to make an impact and thrive in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of office-based and remote working following successful completion of training and probation.

What You'll Do
- As an Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of freight while delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day freight forwarding operations from start to finish
- Coordinating shipments across road, sea, and air freight services
- Liaising with customers, carriers, shipping lines, and suppliers
- Ensuring customs and shipping documentation is accurate and compliant
- Tracking shipments and proactively communicating updates to customers
- Handling quotations and operational queries
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners
- Ensuring all files are completed accurately and in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Fluency in both English and Turkish is essential for this role due to the requirement to communicate directly with Turkish-speaking customers, suppliers, and overseas partners on a daily basis
- Strong operational knowledge of freight processes and documentation
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with customs procedures would be advantageous
- A team player who is eager to contribute to the continued success of the Hull branch
