This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of a high-hazard chemical manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will support plant operations, material movements, logistics activities and waste management, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with site procedures.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out bulk transfers, ISO tank and IBC movements, shunting activities and associated documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and escalate logistical issues that could affect production, dispatch or stock control.
  • Operate process plant equipment and recipe-driven Distributed Control System, or DCS, systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and site standards.
  • Prepare, heat, load and offload materials in line with production requirements.
  • Monitor plant conditions, accurately record information and actions, and ensure samples are arranged and submitted on time.
  • Apply safe systems of work when handling hazardous, flammable, toxic, heated or pressurised materials.
  • Understand the plant’s Basis of Safety and follow the relevant control measures.
  • Prepare Permit to Work documentation and process equipment for maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with shift teams, supervisors, logistics, maintenance and quality teams, escalating issues when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
