Our Brand Portfolio
We have recently revamped our brand portfolio to introduce an exciting range of high-end, luxury optical frames, including Cartier, Lindberg, Maui Jim, Götti, Gucci, Anne et Valentin, and Örgreen.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opening for an Optical Assistant to join the welcoming team at Niall O’Kane Opticians. In this varied role, you will be actively involved in carrying out pre-screening using specialist clinical equipment, handling reception duties and dispensing quality eyewear while working alongside our qualified team of Dispensing Opticians and Optometrists. You will also have the opportunity to partake in exciting brand events and work with high-end luxury products in a truly beautiful environment. In 2025, the practice underwent an extensive refurbishment, creating a calm, contemporary space that reflects the quality of care we provide and offers our patients the beautiful, welcoming environment they deserve. This a rare chance to join our growing clinic. Here, you'll have the time to truly get to know your patients

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in an opticians or clinical environment
- Is confident operating specialist pre-screening equipment and handling front-of-house receptionist duties
- Provides exceptional service and enjoys building long-term patient relationships
- Enjoys working in a luxury, clinical environment
- Is confident, professional, and well organised
- Truly cares about patients and delivering a warm, high-end customer experience.
- Enjoys dispensing, frame styling, and helping patients select bespoke eyewear.
- Is ambitious and interested in career progression -with the opportunity to undertake the Apprentice Dispensing Optician course (either this year or next year!).
- Full or part-time considered (minimum 4 days, including Saturdays).
