👓 Optical Assistant – Full Time
Optical People – Hinckley
Optical People is looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join our friendly, independent opticians in Hinckley.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and wants to be part of a professional, welcoming team where patients receive a genuinely personal service.
The Role Includes:
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Supporting patients with frame and lens selection
- Frame styler experience
- Dispensing and advising on eyewear
- Taking measurements and carrying out pre-screening where appropriate
- Booking appointments and handling general reception duties
- Processing orders and liaising with suppliers
- Providing excellent aftercare and customer service
- Supporting the wider team with the smooth running of the practice

We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has previous experience working as an Optical Assistant
- Has a good understanding of optical dispensing and eyewear
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is friendly, confident and professional
- Is organised, reliable and able to work well as part of a small team
- Takes pride in providing a high standard of patient care
