Our Store
The Blackwood Specsavers store is a busy and customer-focused optical and audiology environment, located in the heart of Blackwood town centre on the High Street. The store is dedicated to delivering exceptional eye and hearing care services to the local community, offering a welcoming and professional experience for every customer. Colleagues work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting to provide outstanding customer service, support commercial performance, and maintain the highest standards of clinical care and operational excellence. The store benefits from excellent accessibility, with Blackwood Bus Station just a short walk away and rail links available from nearby Pengam, Hengoed, and Gilfach Fargoed stations, making it easily accessible for both customers and colleagues commuting from the surrounding areas.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous optical experience is essential
- A confident and effective communicator who can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
- A passionate people person with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Well-organized, with strong time management skills
- Hard-working, proactive, and able to lead by example
