Dispensing Optician FBDO

Are you a qualified Dispensing Optician looking for your next opportunity?
We are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician to join our fabulous practice in Knaresborough for 2 days / 16 hours per week covering week 1: Monday & Thursday 9am - 5:30pm; week 2: Monday 9am - 5:30pm & Saturday 9am - 4pm (15.25 hours).
At Bayfields, we are passionate about delivering obsessively great service to every client. As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a key role in making sure every client receives the right advice, the right products, and an exceptional experience from start to finish.
What will you be doing?
- You will work closely with our Optometrists and wider practice teams to provide the very best solutions for our clients and their individual lifestyles.
- It’s about more than dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles. You will build genuine relationships with our clients, understand what matters to them, and use your expertise to recommend the right frames, lenses, and solutions. Working with frames including: Jensen, Polo, Rayban, Oakley, Gucci, Tom Ford, Ted Baker, Carolina Herrera, Cocoa Mint, Ralph Lauren, Wolf, Stepper, Landrover Sun, Cocoa Mint Sun, Oakley Sun, and Rayban Sun.
- You will have access to fantastic products and leading brands, alongside the latest developments in spectacle lenses and contact lenses.

What we’re looking for:
- FBDO qualified Dispensing Optician
- GOC registered
- Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
- A passion for delivering exceptional client care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make a real difference to our clients
