Optometrist – Independent Practice, Beckenham, Greenwich and Bromley (Full or Part Time)

Location - Beckenham, Greenwich, Bromley

Full or part time mobile Optometrist role (4-5 days) flexible with working in our Bromley, Beckenham or Greenwich branches. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing eye conditions and providing expert advice on eye care and lens recommendations. They will work closely with the team and management to ensure the best possible vision correction for patients and will be part of building the store’s reputation to help contribute to store growth.

Glasseslab is an established Independent Optician with stores based in Greenwich, Beckenham & Bromley. Led by an experienced DO, our aim is to provide a personalised customer journey combined with exceptional customer service for every patient. We stock a large selection of eyewear brands such as Cutler & Gross, Gucci, Lindberg, Kirk & Kirk and the store is based in beautiful heritage surroundings of Greenwich. The store is well equipped with OCT, Thomson test chart and autorefractor. You will be supported with a friendly and welcoming team and will work closely with our experienced DO Store Manager to contribute towards store growth and strengthen our current reputation.

Qualifications

  • Optometry degree and GOC registered
  • Qualified for a minimum of two years practising as an Optometrist
  • Preferably SEL MECs accredited
  • Professionally conducting eye examinations, contact lens work and diagnosing eye conditions with OCT knowledge and experience
  • Strong knowledge of corrective lens options
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well and motivate others in a team environment
  • Contribute and support with staff training
  • Attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities
  • Customer service skills and a patient centered approach
  • Be commercially aware supporting the team in achieving growth and reaching targets

Working hours:

Clinics run Monday-Saturday with 45 minute testing.

  • Monday-Friday 10-6pm, Saturday 10-5pm
