About the Role
As a full-time Optometrist at Walsh & Bridle Opticians, you will:
- Perform comprehensive 30–50 minute eye tests and contact lens assessments with standard equipment including OCT, Fundus camera, and digital testing screens.
- Utilise expertise in contact lenses, including RGPs and Ortho-K.
- Manage a high volume of paediatric patients, bringing a genuine passion for children's eyecare.
- Apply strong commercial awareness while ensuring patient care remains the top priority.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 in a relaxed, welcoming 2-consulting-room practice.
- Occasionally cover our practice in nearby East Wittering as required.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Optometrist with full registration and GOC licensing (this role suits a highly experienced clinician).
- Advanced skills in contact lenses (RGPs and Ortho-K).
- Strong clinical background with a focus on paediatric eyecare.
- Solid commercial understanding balanced with excellent patient rapport.
- Willingness to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays a month.

Additional Information:
- Testing times: 30 to 50 minutes
- Practice setup: 2 consulting rooms, team of 5
- Equipment: OCT, Fundus camera, digital testing screens
- Working pattern: Full-time, including 3 in 4 Saturdays
- Locations: Primary role based at Walsh & Bridle, with occasional cover at East Wittering

Salary
- Max: GBP £65,000.00
- Min: GBP £55,000.00
