Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The store currently has 3 sight test rooms and is just in the process of introducing a dedicated tele-optometry room. There are another 2 test rooms available, which can be equipped as required.

The current team is made up of 26, including 1 Optom and 1 DO who are also the remaining partners in the store. With an existing Optom and Retail Partner already in situ, this is a great opportunity for someone to join a strong leadership team whilst focussing on delivering continued growth.

Store location

The store is located in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Scarborough where there’s plenty for everyone. Boasting two long sandy beaches less than 10 minutes’ walk from the store, amusement arcades, restaurants and bars and a pretty fishing harbour. A visit to the Sea life centre and a hike to Scarborough castle ruins which overlooks the town are musts when visiting the coast. There are excellent transport links; a railway station 10 minutes’ walk from the store where a train will take you to York in about an hour and London in roughly 3 hours.
