Job Title: Oracle Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Accounting Specialist to support a global finance organization through the stabilization and optimization of accounting processes following an Oracle implementation. This role combines strong accounting expertise with process improvement and transformation activities. The successful candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues, improve controls, standardize procedures, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze end-to-end accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting issues, including accruals, reconciliations, outstanding balances, and month-end closing activities.
  • Support operational accounting activities and ensure the timely completion of financial processes.
  • Reduce existing accounting backlogs and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Document and standardize accounting procedures, controls, and responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate finance processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Accounting, Finance, and related business functions.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders and support the implementation of future-state finance processes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience working with Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
  • Experience with Oracle Project Costing and Project Financial Management.
  • Strong background in project accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation activities.
  • Ability to identify root causes and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
  • Experience documenting and improving end-to-end finance processes.
  • Strong understanding of finance controls, governance, and process standardization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
