As an Oracle consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Oracle applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Oracle applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.
About the role
You’ll be joining our Oracle Consulting services team. As a Certified Oracle Cloud partner, we help our clients use Oracle’s technology and applications to build their digital enterprise on the cloud; transform business functions, including finance, supply chain, HR, and tax; achieve maximum value on their investment through Managed Cloud Services; and help them manage risk and ‘go live’ on time and on budget through Oracle Cloud Embedded Assurance.
You’ll be joining a team that’s rated by Gartner and IDC Marketspace as a Leader in several categories, including being positioned as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Oracle Cloud Application Services, worldwide. You’ll work with the latest technologies and big-name companies on projects that are driving the future of those organisations. Playing key roles on client engagements, assisting in creating new opportunities and contributing to knowledge sharing and the development of our people.
What your days will look like:
- Leading the design and architecture of Oracle Cloud Application solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, integrated and aligned to client business outcomes, Oracle leading practice and PwC delivery standards.
- Owning the end-to-end business solution architecture across programmes, acting as the Design Authority for Finance and governing architectural decisions across functional, technical and cross-workstream teams.
- Shaping business transformation strategies, operating models and roadmaps, translating business objectives into pragmatic solution architectures and implementation approaches.
- Advising senior client stakeholders, including CFOs, CIO’s, HRD’s and programme sponsors, presenting architectural options, challenging thinking where appropriate and supporting executive decision-making.
- Leading solution design workshops, architecture reviews and governance forums, ensuring key decisions are robust, documented and understood by both business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborating with functional, technical, integration, data, security and reporting teams to ensure a coherent, deliverable and integrated enterprise solution throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Contributing to the growth of the Oracle practice by coaching architects and consultants, developing delivery assets and methodologies, supporting recruitment and capability development, and promoting innovation across the Oracle community.
- Supporting clients in transforming their finance function through process standardisation, Target Operating Models, Shared Services, controls transformation and broader Digital back-office initiatives.
- Providing independent design assurance, supporting programme mobilisation, delivery quality, solution governance and the successful implementation of complex Oracle Cloud Application programmes.
- Contributing to business development activities, including client discovery, solution demonstrations, proposal development, RFP responses, client presentations and shaping new Oracle Cloud Application opportunities.

This role is for you if:
- Significant experience as an Oracle Cloud Solution Architect or senior Finance / Supply Chain Functional Lead, with a proven track record of leading complex Oracle Cloud Application implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Intercompany, Subledger Accounting and Accounting Hub.
- Strong understanding of operating models and Oracle leading practices, with the ability to align Oracle Cloud capabilities to business outcomes.
- Proven experience designing integrated Oracle Cloud Applications solutions across Finance and connected business functions, including Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, HCM and other technologies incl. EPM, Reporting, Data Migration, Integrations and Security.
- Experience governing Oracle Cloud Application solution architecture, applying design assurance and architectural controls across complex transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud configuration principles, quarterly release management, security, reporting and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience applying Oracle's latest innovations, including AI, Redwood, automation and analytics, to deliver measurable business value.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COO’s, HRD’s and senior stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and translating complex architectural concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Leading solution design workshops, architecture reviews and governance forums, driving informed decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
- SC clearance, or the ability to be SC cleared
