Oracle Cloud EPM Manager
Career level: Manager (CL7)
Location: London / Manchester / Edinburgh
Practice: Finance Reinvention Partner (Oracle EPM)
About Finance RP
Within Accenture, the Finance Reinvention Partner helps clients improve financial performance around the CFO agenda — driving best-in-class performance, and sharper insight and benchmarking across the enterprise. In the UK and Ireland, our Finance RP practice brings together finance strategy and the platforms it runs on, including SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM.
You'd join our Platforms transformation offering within the practice: a growing team delivering Oracle EPM and finance transformation for finance functions, and building AI into how we deliver. It's a place to go deep on Oracle EPM while staying close to the CFO agenda the work serves.
Why this role
This role owns the Oracle EPM workstream end to end on large-scale Oracle finance transformation programmes, in front of the client — the planning, close and reporting that give a finance function its performance edge. It's a role to become the EPM design authority clients rely on, and to grow into the practice's go-to for getting Oracle EPM right — from the planning model through to the numbers the board sees.
Accenture is a leading solutions and services company. Our strategy is to be the reinvention partner of choice for our clients and to lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI. We bring together our people, deep industry expertise and technology to deliver end-to-end outcomes for clients — and Finance is one of seven Reinvention Partners at the centre of that. Finance RP brings the CFO agenda to life for clients — stronger performance, sharper insight, and better control.
"Our clients want a partner that can help them reinvent—boldly, continuously and at speed… while continuously building the most client-focused, AI-enabled great place to work for our people—our Reinventors." — Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO
What you'll bring
- Your Oracle EPM expertise. Deep, hands-on command of Oracle Cloud EPM across the suite — planning, budgeting and forecasting in EPBCS, the Essbase and Hyperion foundations beneath it, and the consolidation and close that sit alongside it. You know how an EPM landscape fits together and how it connects to the wider Oracle Cloud finance estate, and you can stand behind the design as the person who makes it hold up.
- Planning, reporting and insight. A strong grasp of FP&A and integrated planning, and of the management reporting and analytics that turn an EPM solution into insight the business trusts — dashboards, board reporting, and the reporting layer that sits over it. You understand how the way you design planning and consolidation shows up for the CFO: a faster close, forecasts people believe, and performance insight that drives decisions. Familiarity with driver-based and predictive forecasting is a plus.
- Leading delivery. You lead the EPM workstream end to end — fit-to-standard, functional design, testing and deployment — as the finance design authority for the domain. You manage dependencies with the wider Oracle finance solution, work closely with Oracle delivery and integration teams while keeping ownership of the finance outcome, and lead functional teams across onshore and offshore delivery. You facilitate design forums with senior finance and FP&A stakeholders, and keep programme leadership clear through structured status, issue management and decision recommendations.
- Growing the practice. You contribute to how the practice grows — supporting proposals and bids, shaping EPM transformation approaches, growing the accounts you work on, and building reusable assets and points of view.
- Ways of working. We're increasingly an AI-first delivery team — bringing agentic tooling and orchestration into how we design, analyse and deliver, with our people owning the judgement and the outcome. An understanding of Oracle's own embedded Fusion AI and agents, and how they augment an EPM solution, is a real plus.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who you are
- You take ownership and lead from the front. You build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and coordinate finance, FP&A and operational perspectives with confidence. You bring a collaborative leadership style and a value-led mindset — you can link a sharper planning and close design to better insight and stronger decisions for the CFO — and you develop the people around you. Running workshops, managing stakeholders and expectations, good judgement, critical thinking and clear decisions under pressure are second nature.
- Things that set strong candidates apart: Oracle EPM certification; a track record leading Oracle Cloud EPM delivery on large-scale programmes, across planning and the close; experience of complex, multi-entity or multi-country work; the confidence to lead senior client design discussions; and a professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience).
