Your Role And Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant with 8+ years of Oracle implementation experience, including strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Expenses. This is a client-facing role where you will lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions, helping clients transform and optimize their finance operations.

As a senior member of the consulting team, you will be responsible for leading functional workstreams, engaging with customer stakeholders, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and supporting the successful delivery of Oracle Cloud Financials implementations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Finance, Procurement, and other business functions.

In addition to project delivery, you will contribute to pre-sales activities, support proposal development, conduct solution demonstrations, and help strengthen our Oracle Cloud consulting capability and market offerings.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong functional consulting skills, hands-on Oracle Cloud experience, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. You should be comfortable working in fast-paced project environments and willing to travel to client locations when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions, with a particular focus on Oracle Expenses.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, solution design workshops, and business process mapping sessions.
  • Configure, test, and deploy Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
  • Lead a functional workstream and mentor onshore and offshore consultants.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting, data conversion, and testing activities.
  • Manage client stakeholders and provide trusted advisory support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support proposal development, client demonstrations, and pre-sales engagements.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with client objectives.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • 8+ years of Oracle Financials consulting and implementation experience.
  • At least 3 end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Oracle Cloud Expenses (mandatory)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience leading workstreams and managing small functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Requirements Analysis
    • Solution Design
    • Functional Design Documentation
    • Configuration and Testing
    • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
    • Integration Design and Validation
  • Experience working closely with technical teams on interfaces and integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Expenses, including expense policies, approvals, auditing, corporate card integrations, and reimbursement processes.
  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification(s).
  • Experience integrating Oracle Expenses with Procurement and other Financials modules.
  • Understanding of related Finance and Procurement business processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Financial Reporting Studio, and Oracle Cloud reporting capabilities.
  • Previous involvement in pre-sales activities, including proposals, solution demonstrations, proof of concepts, and workshop facilitation.
  • Experience delivering Oracle Cloud Financials solutions across multiple industries and complex transformation programmes.
