Job Description: SC Cleared Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll & Absence Fast Formula Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll & Absence Fast Formula Consultant. You will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Global Payroll and Absence Management modules. Must be capable of full development, testing, and rollout of complex payroll and absence fast formulas for HCM. Must be able to self-manage and demonstrate considerable experience of fast formula builds and deployments, ideally for public sector customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Fast Formula Development & Troubleshooting: Design, code, test, and optimize complex Oracle Fast Formulas across Payroll, Absence Management, and related HCM modules.
- Module Configuration: Configure and support core functionalities within Oracle Cloud Payroll and Absence Management, including elements, balances, calculation cards, absence plans, and accrual rules.
- Requirement Gathering & Workshops: Lead functional and technical design workshops with business stakeholders, HR/payroll teams, and IT leaders to translate business policies into system configuration.
- Testing & Validation: Support end-to-end testing cycles (Unit, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and parallel payroll runs), ensuring calculation accuracy and compliance.
- Data & Integrations: Assist with data loading, payroll batch processing, and integration mapping between Oracle Cloud and third-party time, attendance, or benefit platforms.
- Post-Production Support: Troubleshoot configuration, data, or calculation defects post-go-live and provide continuous system optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on implementation and support experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (Global Payroll and Absence Management).
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Oracle Fast Formula design, element design, and calculation card configurations.
- Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll business processes, statutory calculations, eligibility profiles, and absence accrual processing.
- Technical Tooling: Familiarity with HCM Data Loader (HDL), Payroll Batch Loader (PBL), HCM Extracts, and reporting tools (OTBI / BI Publisher).
- Project Lifecycle: Proven experience delivering at least 1–2 full end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementation lifecycles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll or Absence Management).
- Experience working with regional/local statutory legislation and statutory absence rules.
