Oracle Cloud HCM UK Payroll Consultant

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: Long-Term

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM UK Payroll Consultant to join a high-impact Oracle Cloud implementation and support project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll for the United Kingdom, including payroll configuration, legislative compliance, Fast Formulas, payroll processing, and integrations.

This role requires a functional consultant who can work closely with business stakeholders, gather requirements, configure Oracle Cloud Payroll, and ensure accurate payroll processing in compliance with UK statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement Oracle Cloud UK Payroll solutions based on business requirements.
  • Lead requirement gathering, solution design, and payroll workshops with business users.
  • Configure payroll elements, balances, payroll relationships, eligibility, and payroll processing.
  • Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, validations, and legislative requirements.
  • Configure payroll costing, payment methods, statutory deductions, and payroll reports.
  • Support payroll cycles including payroll validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation including PAYE, National Insurance (NI), Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP), Student Loans, Pension Auto Enrolment, and Real Time Information (RTI).
  • Configure payroll interfaces with HR, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Finance, and third-party payroll providers.
  • Perform payroll testing including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, and end-user training materials.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, reports, HDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OTBI reporting.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of Oracle HCM experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Cloud HCM UK Payroll.
  • Multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll implementation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Payroll legislation and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Fast Formulas.
  • Experience with Payroll Balances, Elements, Payroll Flows, Costing, and Payment Processing.
  • Experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL).
  • Experience with HCM Extracts.
  • Experience with BI Publisher and OTBI Reports.
  • Knowledge of Payroll Integrations.
  • Experience with Absence Management and Time & Labor integration.
  • Strong functional configuration skills.
  • Experience supporting Payroll Go-Live and Hypercare.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Core HR.
  • Experience with Oracle Time & Labor.
  • Experience with Oracle Absence Management.
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • Consulting or client-facing implementation experience is highly preferred.
