Title: Oracle CPQ Consultant (Oracle Configure, Price, Quote)
Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid – On-site scheduled team days)
Contract Type: Freelance B2B / Inside IR35 Contract
Workload: Full-Time (100%)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Consultant for a contract assignment based out of Reading. In this role, you will lead the technical configuration, solution design, and integration of Oracle CPQ Cloud to optimize complex product modeling, dynamic pricing, and automated contract/quote generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure Oracle CPQ product models, pricing rules, constraint rules, and Commerce processes.
- Write and maintain custom BML/BMQL scripts for advanced business logic and data manipulation.
- Build and maintain Document Engine templates for dynamic PDF/Word quote output generation.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP web service integrations between Oracle CPQ and CRM/ERP backends.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine pricing matrices, discount approvals, and sales workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Core Requirements:
- CPQ Expertise: Extensive experience delivering Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly BigMachines) solutions.
- Scripting: Advanced proficiency in BML (BigMachines Extensible Language) and BMQL.
- Integrations: Proven background integrating CPQ with enterprise CRM (Oracle CX, Salesforce) and ERP platforms.
- Location: Ability to work hybrid out of the Reading office according to team schedule.
- Communication: Professional fluency in English with strong client-facing skills.

Desirable Experience:
- Oracle CPQ Cloud Certification (Implementation Specialist).
- Exposure to subscription management or complex revenue recognition workflows.
