Job Description
Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Oracle DB Administration to manage and optimize Oracle database environments.
- Manage and maintain Oracle database systems ensuring high availability and performance
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
- Monitor database health and implement proactive measures to prevent issues
- Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization
- Collaborate with development teams to support PL/SQL development and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) processes
- Ensure database security, backup, and recovery strategies are implemented and tested
- Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues promptly
- Document database configurations, procedures, and policies
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices
- Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery planning activities

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle DB administration activities including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Manage and optimize ODI workflows and data integration processes
- Develop, review, and optimize PL/SQL code to support application requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database operations
- Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve database issues
- Enforce database security policies and compliance standards
- Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical guidance
- Prepare reports on database performance, availability, and capacity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance database reliability and efficiency
