About The Role
Initially a 2-3 month contract, the client can be flexible and would welcome either part or full-time candidates. The role is outside IR35. You must be able to be DBS cleared if needed. We are seeking an experienced Oracle Service Cloud Developer to support the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. The successful candidate will possess strong experience in configuring the Oracle Service Cloud platform, creating and managing custom fields and objects, and developing business processes to support customer service operations. This role requires a blend of technical development and system configuration expertise to deliver scalable and efficient customer service solutions.

Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience
- Oracle Service Cloud certification is desirable but not mandatory
- Proven experience in developing and configuring Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) platforms
- Solid understanding of data migration, system integration, and platform customization
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of SQL, database design, and experience working within Agile delivery environments is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business requirements
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support business processes
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline customer service operations
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
- Support data management activities, including imports, exports, and data integrity checks to ensure data quality
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions
- Support integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities to maintain comprehensive records for future reference
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities to ensure smooth rollouts of new features and updates
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements
