Oracle Developer
Duration: Until end of March 2027 initially
Location: Stirling office (Fully remote)
Rate: £450 - £550 Inside IR35
The Opportunity
An experienced Oracle Developer is required to join an established Agile delivery team working on the development of a new back-office database and Oracle APEX application.
This is a hands-on development role focused on Oracle database development, Oracle APEX application delivery and integration work within a fast-paced digital environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers and stakeholders to design, build and enhance Oracle-based solutions while supporting ongoing project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support Oracle database solutions.
- Build and enhance Oracle APEX applications.
- Create and maintain database objects including tables, views, packages, triggers and indexes.
- Develop PL/SQL and SQL components.
- Design and integrate REST APIs.
- Develop user interfaces using Oracle APEX.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery.
- Support deployments through CI/CD processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimise application and database performance.
- Use Git-based version control and collaborative development practices.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Oracle RDBMS development experience.
- Oracle APEX development experience.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Experience creating tables, views, packages, triggers and indexes.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience.
- Git version control.
- CI/CD experience.
- Agile delivery experience.
Desirable Skills
- Azure Cloud.
- Azure DevOps / Microsoft DevOps.
- SQL Server.
- Cosmos DB.
- Power Platform.
- Dynamics 365.
- Angular or Node.js.
- Experience working within public sector or highly regulated environments.
