About The Role
Initially a 2-3 month contract, the client has demonstrated flexibility and is open to considering both part-time and full-time candidates. The role is outside IR35, offering a unique opportunity for experienced Oracle Service Cloud Developers to contribute to the development, configuration, and enhancement of customer service solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in configuring the Oracle Service Cloud platform, creating custom objects and fields, developing business processes, and supporting the overall customer service operations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and system configuration skills to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative customer service solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or have equivalent commercial experience demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Service Cloud development and configuration. Oracle Service Cloud certification is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates should have proven experience working with Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow), with a strong understanding of data migration, API integrations, and system customization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business requirements effectively.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support customer service workflows.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline operations and enhance user experience.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to optimize usability and reporting capabilities.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, configuration challenges, and data discrepancies promptly.
- Support integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and oversee production deployments to ensure smooth implementation.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and organizational policies.
