About The Role
Initially a 2-3 month contract, the client can be flexible and would welcome either part or full-time candidates. The role is outside IR35. You must be able to be DBS cleared if needed. We are seeking an experienced Oracle Service Cloud Developer to support the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. The successful candidate will have strong experience configuring the Oracle Service Cloud platform, creating and managing custom fields and objects, developing business processes, and supporting customer service operations. This role requires a blend of technical development and system configuration expertise to deliver scalable and efficient customer service solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or have equivalent commercial experience. Certifications in Oracle Service Cloud are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. A strong understanding of database design, SQL, and enterprise integration concepts will support your success in this role. Proven experience working within Agile delivery environments and demonstrating excellent stakeholder management skills are essential. Certifications related to Oracle Service Cloud or relevant technical fields will enhance your candidacy.

Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support customer service processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy and security.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data-related issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Support integration efforts between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and oversee smooth production deployments.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and organizational policies.
