About The Role
Initially offered as a 2-3 month contract, this role offers flexibility for both part-time and full-time candidates, depending on the organization’s needs. The position is outside IR35, providing an advantageous contractual arrangement. The successful candidate will serve as an Oracle Service Cloud Developer, responsible for supporting the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and system configuration skills to deliver scalable, efficient, and customer-centric service solutions. The ideal candidate must be able to obtain DBS clearance if necessary and be comfortable working in dynamic environments that prioritize innovation and quality.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent commercial experience will also be considered. Certifications specific to Oracle Service Cloud are highly desirable, demonstrating a strong foundation and commitment to the platform. Candidates with additional certifications or knowledge in related Oracle products, such as Oracle Digital Assistant or Fusion applications, will have an added advantage. Proficiency in SQL and database design is also beneficial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet organizational requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support business processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to optimize customer service operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance usability and reporting capabilities.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues related to configuration, data, or system integration challenges.
- Support integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications to streamline workflows.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and oversee production deployment processes.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and organizational policies.
