About The Role
Our established client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex Oracle database systems to support critical business operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable solutions, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing system performance. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to work within a collaborative environment that values innovation and technical excellence. The role requires a deep understanding of Oracle PL/SQL development, configuration management, and experience working within large-scale information systems environments. Financial industry application experience is considered advantageous, as it aligns with our client’s core business operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Oracle PL/SQL development within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle database administration and configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of financial industry applications and compliance standards is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing database systems to improve performance and reliability.
- Implement database security measures and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform database tuning and troubleshooting to resolve performance issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in configuration management activities to ensure version control and deployment consistency.
- Assist in the migration, upgrade, and integration projects related to Oracle systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database development and management.
