About The Role
Initially a 2-3 month contract, this role offers flexibility for part or full-time engagement, with the client being outside IR35. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. This position requires a seasoned Oracle Service Cloud Developer with proven experience in configuring and customizing the platform to optimize customer service operations. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and supporting integrations with third-party applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent stakeholder management skills, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and secure customer service systems.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or have equivalent commercial experience. Oracle Service Cloud certifications are highly desirable, demonstrating a validated expertise in the platform. Experience with SQL, database design, and API integrations will be advantageous. The role requires a candidate who can demonstrate proven experience in developing and configuring Oracle Service Cloud solutions, along with a solid understanding of data migration, system testing, and user acceptance testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business needs.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support tailored customer service workflows.
- Develop and implement business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and maintaining data integrity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Support and maintain integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and oversee production deployment processes.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and organizational policies.
