About The Role
Initially offered as a 2-3 month contract, this position provides flexible working arrangements, welcoming both part-time and full-time candidates. The role is outside IR35, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. The successful candidate will serve as an Oracle Service Cloud Developer, responsible for supporting the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and system configuration skills to deliver scalable, efficient, and customer-centric solutions that improve service operations. The developer will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design system configurations, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring that the platform aligns with best practices and security standards. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent commercial experience in a relevant field.
- Oracle Service Cloud certification is highly desirable, reflecting a recognized level of expertise in the platform.
- Strong technical skills, coupled with practical experience in configuring and developing on the Oracle Service Cloud platform, are essential.
- Knowledge of database design, SQL, and integration techniques further enhances a candidate’s suitability for this role.
- A proven track record of delivering successful Oracle Service Cloud projects, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business needs.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support tailored solutions.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline customer service operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance usability and reporting capabilities.
- Support data management activities including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Support integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases to ensure quality delivery.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and organizational policies.
