About The Role
Our established client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join their expanding team. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing the organization’s core information systems, ensuring robust and efficient database solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Oracle PL/SQL applications, contributing to the overall stability and performance of critical business systems. Qualifications
- Approximately 10 or more years of solid Oracle PL/SQL development experience, preferably within large-scale information systems environments.
- A strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and configuration management.
- Experience in the financial industry is highly advantageous, providing familiarity with regulatory standards and complex transaction processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in Oracle technologies are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
- Analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and developing scalable and efficient database solutions.
- Performance tuning, query optimization, and ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and other technical teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
- Participating in code reviews, documentation, and testing to uphold high-quality standards.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices in database development.
