Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, and database objects.
  • Design and modify database tables, indexes, constraints, and schemas.
  • Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Analyze execution plans and resolve database performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot and fix application and production issues related to Oracle databases.
  • Perform data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
  • Develop ETL processes and support data integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Prepare technical documentation for database solutions and processes.
  • Follow coding standards, security practices, and SDLC processes.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
  • Good understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Knowledge of query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and execution plans.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes.
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Git/version control is an advantage.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
