About The Role
Our established client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to large-scale information systems within the financial industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Oracle PL/SQL applications that support critical business functions. Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Proven track record working within large-scale information systems environments.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with configuration management and version control tools.
- Financial industry application experience is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex Oracle PL/SQL code to support business applications and processes.
- Optimize database performance through effective query tuning and indexing strategies.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in system analysis, design, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance existing database systems, ensuring stability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement best practices for version control, configuration management, and documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle database environments.
- Stay updated on the latest Oracle developments and incorporate new features and technologies as appropriate.
