About the Company

Our Client runs Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 supporting around 250 users across finance and projects. The footprint covers Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Cash Management, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management and lease accounting, with a number of interfaces feeding to and from the systems of third party manufacturing partners.

About the Role

We are looking for a genuine hybrid consultant who is equally at home in configuration and in code. The day job includes resolving user queries and keeping the applications running. The more interesting work sits alongside it: rolling the current solution out to a newly acquired business, implementing additional modules as the finance function grows, and driving a live automation agenda within EBS. This suits someone who wants to grow with the platform rather than simply maintain it.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support across the live modules, owning user enquiries from triage through to resolution and supporting year end where needed.
  • Configure, test and document changes, build and maintain the custom applications, reports and interfaces that extend the platform, with Oracle APEX central to how the Company does this.
  • Design and deliver automation within EBS to cut manual effort across the finance processes.
  • As our Client grows, support the rollout of the existing solution to acquired entities and contribute to new module implementations from requirements through to go live and hyper care.
  • Work directly with finance and operational users, translating what they need into practical solutions, and help manage the interfaces to the third party manufacturer systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
