Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Consultant / Senior Consultant to join a global consultancy, specialising in Oracle EPBCS and FCCS, while also contributing to AI-led finance transformation, solution advisory and presales activities.

This role is ideal for an EPM professional who combines strong hands-on delivery experience with commercial awareness and the ability to engage with clients, shape solutions and support business development.

You will work across Oracle EPM implementations, optimisation programmes and strategic finance transformation initiatives, helping clients understand how EPM Cloud and emerging AI capabilities can improve planning, forecasting, consolidation and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oracle EPM Delivery
    Deliver and lead Oracle EPM Cloud implementations, primarily EPBCS and FCCS. Support solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
    Translate finance requirements into scalable EPM solutions.
    Work across planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and close processes.
    Support integrations, data migration, metadata and reporting activities.
    Provide client advisory and post-go-live optimisation support.

  • AI & Finance Transformation
    Explore and support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities within Oracle EPM and Finance transformation.
    Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, planning automation, reporting and management insight through AI.
    Contribute to AI-focused client workshops, demonstrations and solution propositions.
    Stay current with Oracle’s evolving AI, EPM and cloud technology roadmap.
    Help clients understand practical use cases for AI across finance functions.

  • Presales & Advisory
    Support presales activities including discovery workshops, solution shaping and client presentations.
    Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, estimates and statements of work.
    Develop solution approaches, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
    Work with sales and consulting teams to identify opportunities and expand client relationships.
    Present Oracle EPM capabilities to senior finance stakeholders and decision-makers.
    Support the development of reusable assets, accelerators and go-to-market offerings.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience delivering Oracle EPM Cloud, particularly EPBCS and FCCS.
  • Proven consulting experience within a systems integrator or global consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of finance planning, forecasting, budgeting and/or consolidation.
  • Experience in client-facing advisory, workshops or solution design.
  • Some exposure to presales, RFPs, proposals or solution shaping.
  • Interest in or experience with AI-enabled finance transformation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.

Desirable:

  • Experience with ARCS, EDMCS, PCMCS, TRCS or Narrative Reporting.
  • Oracle EPM Automate, Smart View and Data Integration.
  • Experience creating demos, PoCs or AI-led finance use cases.
  • Experience engaging with CFO, FP&A or Group Finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to bridge technical delivery, functional finance and commercial consulting.
