The Role
This position will provide Functional Support and Development as a member of the small, in-house Oracle ERP Support Team based in London, supporting the organisation’s Global Oracle ERP R12.2.10 end user community.
The role will specifically require detailed Accounts Payable (AP), iProcurement and General Ledger module knowledge.
The role will be responsible for supporting and developing existing and new customised solutions of the internally hosted Oracle Applications R12 system.
This position is required to support the uplift of requirements being requested due to our on-going Finance Transformation Initiatives.

What will you do?
- Specify, test and support in-house system customisations, interfaces and enhancements for the multiple-organisation environment, particularly for GL and AP.
- Identify, test and co-ordinate the rollout of custom bug fixes and system improvements to the Oracle ERP system.
- Identify and implement enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the usage of the Oracle Financials system within the organisation.
- Work with business stakeholders to increase the exploitation of unused system functionality and capabilities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and automation of existing processes.
- Provide first, second and third line functional support as required.
- Raising and tracking of support requests with Oracle support through to resolution and coordinating the testing, sign off and application of bug fixes and patches as required.
- Work with 3rd party providers and consultants as required.
About you
Essential
- Minimum 2 years development experience of Oracle Financials / Applications (R12.2)
- Strong functional implementation and support experience in core Oracle Applications Financials modules including GL, FA, AR, AP, CM, AGIS, OLFM, PO and iProc.
- Strong working development knowledge particularly required of AP, iProc and GL.
- Strong experience of Functional support and development of standard Oracle Open interfaces and APIs to third-party systems.
- Oracle ERP System Administration - ability to update and maintain application standing data and configuration options.
- Must be a team player. Experience of working collaboratively with other Functional, Technical, DBA and IT infrastructure team members.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with all levels of business end user and IT department members.

Desirable
- Some experience of SQL and PL/SQL package procedures is a bonus.
- Hybrid technical knowledge of any of the Financials modules GL, AP, iProc, FA, AR, OLFM & PO, iProc.
- Experience of raising and tracking support requests with Oracle support.
- Previous support and development team experience.
- Experience and knowledge of working in travel industry.
