Oracle Financials Business Analyst - GL, FAH, AP, AR
Up to £750 per day (Inside IR35)
London - Hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week)
6 month initial contract.
My client is a high-profile Financial Services firm who are urgently looking to hire an Oracle Financials Business Analyst / Oracle Financials Functional Consultant with proven experience in GL and FAH along with expert Finance knowledge including Trial Balance, Intercompany, Retained Earnings, Balance Sheets, P&L, chart of Accounts, Revaluations etc.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Oracle Financials Business Analyst / Oracle Financials Functional Consultant within the Financial Services (i.e. Banking / Fund Management) industries
- Expertise in Core Finance modules - particularly GL and FAH
- Expert-level financial knowledge, including Trial Balance, Intercompany, Retained Earnings, Balance Sheets, P&L, chart of Accounts, Revaluations etc.
- Good understanding of other Oracle Financials modules such as AP, AR, Projects, FA, procurement and purchasing
- Strong understanding of underlying finance data held in different system structures and the ability to analyse data, construct and validate trial balance and daily posting extracts
- Competency in the use of SQL to interrogate Finance databases and extract required data sets
- Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements
- Exceptional communication skills, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the ability to converse confidently with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences, including senior finance and senior IT stakeholders
- Ability to generate and present quality presentation packs as needed, to aid meaningful discussions
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working (2-3 days per week on-site)
