Role: Oracle Financials Functional Process Lead
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
- Lead functional consulting activities across Oracle Fusion Financials – AP, AR, GL, and Tax.
- Understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion functional solutions.
- Interact with business SMEs, process owners, and customer stakeholders to understand existing processes and business challenges.
- Conduct business process analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Financials based on approved business requirements.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including BR100 configuration documents.
- Define functional specifications for technical development and integrations where required.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Ensure solutions meet functional requirements, design specifications, and business objectives.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Identify process improvements and recommend Oracle Fusion best practices.
- Provide functional guidance to project teams and junior consultants.
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, reports, data migration, and extensions.
- Support data conversion and validation activities related to Financials modules.
- Assist with project planning, scope definition, estimation, and delivery activities.
- Contribute to proposal development, solution presentations, and client workshops.
- Conduct client training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Support internal capability building and development of reusable consulting assets.
- Provide functional support during post-go-live and stabilization phases.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
