Job Description
Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Process Lead with 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing functional solutions for Oracle Financials, understanding business requirements, designing functional solutions, and ensuring that deliverables meet functional requirements and design specifications.
The candidate will work closely with business SMEs, customer process consultants, functional teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand, analyze, document, and optimize finance business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Financials functional consulting activities across the consulting lifecycle.
- Provide functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Finance modules, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Tax
- Understand and analyze business processes and translate business requirements into Oracle Financials functional solutions.
- Work closely with customer process consultants and business SMEs to gather and analyze requirements.
- Define problems, recommend solutions, and support the implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Prepare and maintain BR100 configuration documents and configuration-related documentation.
- Perform Oracle Financials configuration, functional design, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure Oracle Financials deliverables comply with agreed functional requirements, design specifications, and project standards.
- Participate in business process consulting, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
- Guide project teams on project processes, deliverables, functional best practices, and Oracle Financials solutions.
- Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, client training, and internal capability building.
- Support project scope definition and contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of Oracle Fusion Finance.
- Provide guidance and functional leadership to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop value-adding Oracle Financials consulting solutions that address changing business and finance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle Financials / Oracle Finance functional consulting.
- Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion AP, AR, GL and Tax.
- Experience in Oracle Financials implementation, configuration, and support.
- Strong understanding of Finance business processes.
- Experience working with business SMEs, process consultants, and client stakeholders.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and functional documentation.
- Experience preparing BR100 configuration documents.
- Experience across different phases of the Oracle consulting lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of functional requirements, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead and guide functional teams.
- Experience in a client-facing consulting environment is highly desirable.
