I'm currently partnering with a leading international bank seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Product Owner to take ownership of its General Ledger platform across Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud environments.
This is a highly visible role sitting between Finance and Technology, responsible for driving the product roadmap, improving finance processes, and supporting the ongoing evolution of a strategic Oracle finance platform. The role is hands-on, with responsibility for configuration, production support, enhancements and post-go-live optimisation across Oracle Financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the product vision and roadmap for Oracle General Ledger.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders across Financial Control, Product Control and Reporting functions.
- Manage and prioritise product backlogs, user stories and delivery plans.
- Drive adoption of Oracle standard functionality and best practices.
- Undertake hands-on functional configuration across Oracle Financials modules.
- Provide day-to-day and post-go-live production support, troubleshooting issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Support system enhancements, testing, UAT, releases and post-implementation optimisation.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and third-party implementation partners.
- Ensure solutions meet financial control, reporting and regulatory requirements.

Experience Required
- Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle EBS R12.
- Strong hands-on functional expertise within Oracle General Ledger, including configuration, financial reporting, Chart of Accounts, intercompany accounting, period-end close and reconciliations.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience across related Oracle Financials modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Experience supporting post-go-live production environments, including issue resolution, enhancements, configuration changes and optimisation.
- Exposure to Oracle EPM solutions such as FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, Tax Reporting and FP&A would be highly beneficial.
- Experience working within Financial Services, Banking or Capital Markets environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technology teams.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience analysing finance data across complex environments.
- Experience supporting Oracle transformation or EBS-to-Cloud migration programmes is highly desirable.

Salary: £130,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: London / Hybrid
