Job Description We are looking for a Senior Lead Oracle Fusion Cloud Integration & Extension Consultant to play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex, high‑impact Oracle Fusion programmes within the UK public sector.
For this role SC Clearance required (or eligibility to obtain) This is a hands‑on technical leadership role for a seasoned Oracle professional who can operate confidently at architect level, while still driving delivery, solving problems, and setting the technical standard on programme‑critical integrations and extensions. You will bring 15+ years of Oracle delivery experience, with deep expertise across: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) OCI‑native integration architecture Fusion extensions using VBCS (primary) and APEX (desirable) You’ll work on large‑scale, multi‑system environments, defining and delivering enterprise‑grade integration and extension frameworks that are secure, scalable, reusable, and aligned to OCI best practice. Be Doing Integration Architecture & Delivery (Primary Focus) Own the end‑to‑end architecture, design, and delivery of integrations between Oracle Fusion (ERP, HCM, EPM) and enterprise platforms using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Define and implement enterprise integration frameworks, including: Canonical data models Reusable integration patterns and accelerators API‑led and event‑driven architectures Batch and real‑time orchestration models Build and optimise: App‑driven orchestrations Scheduled and streaming integrations REST / SOAP services and file‑based interfaces Establish robust error handling, observability, and recovery using: OIC tracking and insight tools OCI Logging Analytics Custom monitoring and alerting dashboards Design secure, compliant integration architectures leveraging: OCI Vault OAuth2 and certificate‑based authentication Private endpoints and connectivity agents Drive performance optimisation through parallelism, payload tuning, and bulk processing strategies OCI Architecture & PaaS Engineering Design and deliver end‑to‑end OCI architectures supporting integrations and extensions, including: VCNs, subnets, NSGs, and security lists OCI API Gateway for secure API exposure OCI Functions for event‑driven processing Object Storage for staging, decoupling, and resilience Autonomous Database (ATP / ADW) for integration persistence Create reference architectures and reusable blueprints Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and UK public sector standards Fusion Extensions (VBCS Primary | APEX Optional) Lead the design and delivery of Fusion extensions using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), including: Custom UI extensions Embedded and standalone applications Process‑driven and user‑centric solutions Define extension frameworks and governance, covering: UI and UX standards OIC ↔ VBCS integration patterns Authentication, authorisation, and role‑based access Collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions (Desirable) Deliver lightweight extensions using Oracle APEX where appropriate, such as: Rapid applications Operational dashboards Data‑driven workflows Frameworks, Standards & Reusability Create and evolve reusable accelerators, including: OIC templates and patterns Error‑handling and observability frameworks Logging, monitoring, and audit standards CI/CD pipelines for OIC and VBCS Define development standards and governance controls Champion automation‑first and reusable engineering practices DevOps & CI/CD Enablement Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using: Visual Builder Studio (VBS) Git‑based source control Jenkins and / or OCI DevOps Enable automated deployment and environment promotion for: OIC integrations VBCS applications Drive release management, configuration control, and deployment governance Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Act as technical lead across integration and extension workstreams Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, architects, programme leadership, and security teams Provide design authority, assurance, and technical leadership Mentor delivery teams and uphold high engineering standards Contribute to solution shaping, bid support, and architectural strategy Data & Reporting Alignment (Secondary) Align integration outputs with reporting and analytics platforms such as: BICC, BI Publisher (BIP), FDI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Ensure data lineage, reconciliation, and traceability Support integration‑enabled reporting pipelines Qualifications Essential Experience: 15+ years of Oracle technical delivery experience Extensive, hands‑on expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Proven track record designing enterprise integration architectures Strong OCI architecture experience (networking, security, PaaS services) Hands‑on delivery of VBCS extensions for Oracle Fusion (essential) Strong technical knowledge of: REST / SOAP APIs XSLT / XPath transformations Event‑driven architectures Experience integrating Fusion with enterprise platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Azure) Deep understanding of: Fusion data models FBDI, HDL, and BICC interfaces Experience delivering secure integration patterns (OAuth2, Vault, certificates) Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience Comfortable operating in client‑facing leadership roles Experience in UK public sector or regulated environments Desirable: Oracle APEX development experience Exposure to: Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Oracle Process Automation (OPA) Oracle certifications (OIC Specialist, OCI Architect) Knowledge of UK Government security frameworks (NCSC CAF, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus) Additional Information Why Version 1 Be part of a global
