Role: Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant to act as the primary onsite functional consultant and client-facing subject matter expert for Core HR and Absence Management. You will lead discovery and design activities, configure practical Oracle solutions and support stakeholders through testing, deployment and post-go-live adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary onsite functional consultant and client-facing SME for Oracle HCM Core HR and Absence Management.
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops, business-process discovery sessions and fit-gap analysis.
- Design and configure Core HR structures, including enterprise structures, legal entities, business units, departments, jobs, positions, grades and workforce structures.
- Configure Absence Management processes, including absence plans, leave types, accrual rules, eligibility profiles, workflows and approvals.
- Create and maintain solution design documents, configuration workbooks, functional specifications and test scripts.
- Run design playback sessions, conference room pilots, UAT workshops and end-user demonstrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR teams, technical consultants and integration teams.
- Support employee and absence data migration, including validation and reconciliation activities.
- Assess quarterly Oracle releases, coordinate regression testing and support change-management activity.
- Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution and user guidance while recommending Oracle leading practices and process improvements.

What We're Looking For
- Strong functional experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, particularly Core HR and Absence Management.
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise and workforce structures, jobs, positions, grades and organisational configuration.
- Experience configuring absence plans, leave types, accrual rules, eligibility profiles and approval workflows.
- A proven ability to facilitate requirements, fit-gap, design playback, CRP and UAT sessions with client stakeholders.
- Experience producing solution designs, configuration workbooks, functional specifications and test assets.
- Understanding of HCM data migration, validation and release-impact assessment.
- Clear client-facing communication, structured problem-solving and strong stakeholder-management skills.
- A consulting mindset with the ability to translate business needs into maintainable Oracle solutions.
