Oracle Fusion HCM OTL Functional Consultant

Location: Watford

Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM OTL Functional Consultant to join a major UK organisation as part of its ongoing Oracle Cloud HCM transformation.

This is a key functional role focused on Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), requiring strong hands-on experience across implementation, configuration and optimisation of Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and wider Oracle HCM specialists to translate business requirements into effective Oracle Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the functional delivery of Oracle Fusion HCM Time and Labor (OTL) solutions.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements relating to time management, time capture and workforce processes.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion HCM OTL in line with business requirements and Oracle best practice.
  • Support the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Develop and support OTBI and BI Publisher reports to provide business-critical workforce and time-management information.
  • Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reporting and data requirements.
  • Produce functional specifications and supporting documentation where required.
  • Support system testing, including functional, integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Investigate and resolve functional issues within Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to stakeholders on Oracle OTL functionality and best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of the Oracle Fusion HCM platform.

Essential Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
  • Proven experience delivering Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) implementations.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Time and Labor / OTL.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.
  • Experience with OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).
  • Experience developing or supporting BI Publisher reports.
  • Experience across the Oracle HCM implementation lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within large, complex organisations or enterprise environments.
  • Experience integrating OTL with other Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Cloud HCM transformation or optimisation programmes.
  • Previous experience working within retail, logistics, FMCG or other large workforce environments would be advantageous.
