Job opportunity for Oracle Fusion HCM & Payroll based in Staffordshire, UK - Contract

Job Description:

Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM/Payroll technical experience in customer-facing implementation programmes.

  • Advanced BI Publisher: SQL data models, parameters/LOVs, RTF/Excel/eText templates, bursting, scheduling and troubleshooting.
  • Strong OTBI experience with HCM/Payroll subject areas, dashboards, prompts, filters, calculations and data-security behaviour.
  • Strong HCM Extracts experience including extract design, user entities, records/attributes, parameters, delivery and performance troubleshooting.
  • Strong OIC development skills covering adapters/connections, orchestration, mappings, lookups, transformations, files, fault handling, monitoring and deployment.
  • Strong Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP API knowledge plus XML, JSON, CSV, XSLT/XPath and secure file-transfer concepts.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to analyse effective-dated HCM/Payroll data and diagnose complex cross-system issues.
  • Working knowledge of Fusion security, service accounts, certificates/authentication and environment connectivity.

Required Experience & Core Competencies

  • Proven experience leading reporting/extract and integration workstreams on Oracle Fusion HCM and/or Payroll programmes.
  • Demonstrable hands-on delivery of production-quality BI Publisher reports, HCM Extracts and OIC integrations.
  • Experience taking requirements through technical design, build, testing, deployment and production support.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, customer communication and ability to distinguish data, configuration, security, performance and integration defects.
  • Able to balance delivery leadership with detailed development, troubleshooting and defect fixing without relying entirely on other resources.
  • Strong documentation, quality, supportability and performance mindset.
