Oracle Fusion Payroll Analyst
Location: Remote (Equipment Collection Required)
Rate: £200-£300 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: Until May 2027
Start Date: ASAP
Candidates need to be SC eligible
Akkodis is excited to be supporting a large public sector organisation as it approaches the go-live phase of a significant Oracle Fusion implementation.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an Oracle Fusion Payroll Analysts to support payroll testing, validation activities, and post-go-live hypercare. Your expertise will contribute towards a programme at a critical stage and help ensure the successful delivery of a business-critical payroll transformation.
If you have experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll and enjoy working closely with project teams, payroll specialists, and stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.
This role is primarily remote, with travel to collect equipment at the start of the contract.
Your Impact
- Support payroll testing activities within Oracle Fusion.
- Execute and document test scripts and test scenarios.
- Validate payroll calculations, processes, and outputs.
- Identify, investigate, and support the resolution of system defects.
- Work closely with payroll, project, and technical teams to ensure a successful go-live.
- Assist with business readiness and hypercare support following implementation.
- Contribute to process improvements and best-practice payroll operations.

Who Is This Role For?
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion Payroll.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and payroll operations.
- Experience supporting testing, UAT, or system implementation activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyse payroll-related issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
Desirable Experience
- Local Government experience.
- Knowledge of Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS).
- Previous involvement in Oracle Fusion implementation, migration, or go-live projects.
- Experience supporting post-implementation hypercare activities.
