The Role:

This role is within our Delivery team, and within our HCM capability, delivering services principally against the Oracle E-Business Suite products, but potentially including Oracle Cloud Applications too. The role will be principally delivering against DSP’s Managed Service engagements but will also include delivering some project work.

The role will involve occasional client (UK wide) travel, as well as occasional travel for internal meetings. The role will be home based.

Successful candidates must be willing to participate in mandatory security and compliance training, understand and comply with information security and data protection policies, cooperate with security investigations or audits, and promptly report any suspected security incidents or breaches.

Your Experience and Skills:

  • A wide functional breadth of Oracle product knowledge within the HCM suite, principally to include Payroll, Core HR and Employee & Manager Self Service, but also to include modules such as OLM, iRecruitment, Advanced Benefits, Time & Labor, Compensation Workbench, etc.
  • An excellent technical capability, to include understanding of the HCM data structures, and the ability to use Oracle development tools for incident/problem analysis and complex change work e.g. PL/SQL, Workflow, XML Publisher, OAF.
  • Previous experience of working within a support environment, underpinned by ITIL based working practices.

About You:

  • You’ll be rooted in the technical world with an excellent functional understanding of Oracle HCM & Payroll.
  • Proficient in both EBS and Cloud.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, energetic and results focused.
  • Experience working for smaller consultancy organisations and having developed entrepreneurial skills in the process.
  • Exceptional customer facing skills including presentation & pre-sales support.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • A “can do” attitude with a desire to deliver excellent results.
  • Strong attention to detail with a desire and ability to work accurately.
  • The ability to work under pressure and plan, manage and deliver multiple simultaneous activities. This will include good time management skills.
  • ITIL v3 Certification would be desirable.
