The Role

Seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead solution design and governance across a large Oracle HCM optimisation programme covering Benefits, Pensions, Absence and Payroll. The role will provide functional and technical leadership, support multiple delivery squads, drive solution quality, and act as the design authority for Oracle HCM enhancements, defect remediation and business transformation initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle HCM solution architecture and design governance.
  • Review and shape solutions for Benefits, Pensions, Absence and Payroll changes.
  • Provide guidance on configuration, Fast Formula, integrations, reporting and security.
  • Support agile delivery squads and resolve complex functional and technical issues.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs and Programme Leadership.
  • Ensure scalable, supportable and fit-for-standard Oracle solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by recommending innovative Oracle Cloud capabilities and industry-leading HR and talent acquisition practices.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams on integrations, reporting, data conversion, security design, and system architecture requirements.
  • Support SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal, Cutover, Go-Live and Hypercare activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new Oracle Fusion HCM features, quarterly updates, Redwood enhancements, and recruitment innovations to maximize business value.
  • Mentor and guide functional consultants across multiple Oracle HCM modules.

Your Profile

  • 10+ years Oracle HCM experience
  • Multiple Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and optimisation programmes
  • Strong cross-functional expertise spanning Benefits, Absence and Payroll
  • Experience leading solution design across multiple workstreams and delivery teams
  • UK financial services and pension experience desirable
  • Experience leading business process transformation and operating model discussions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional workstreams and large stakeholder groups.
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and solution design.
  • Experience working closely with Integration, Reporting, Security and Data Migration teams.
  • Experience leading SIT, UAT, cutover and production deployment activities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.
