Role: Software Developer (Oracle HCM Payroll Developer)
Location: Bristol – 3 days per week onsite
Contract: 6 months
Job Description:
We’re looking for a technical Software Developer specializing in Oracle HCM Payroll to support a core payroll service within a large government environment.
This is not a project-based role. The successful candidate will work across the business supporting high-priority changes, with the majority of the work focused on pay awards and developing changes within the Oracle payroll environment.

The role requires someone who is technically strong, comfortable investigating and resolving complex payroll issues, and experienced working within a DevOps/software engineering environment.
Need candidates who have strong hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll development experience, including:
Requirements
- Oracle HCM / Fusion Payroll
- Payroll processing and payroll runbooks
- Payroll Elements configuration
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – integration development
- SQL and PL/SQL
- HCM
- Experience working within a corporate services or shared services environment

The strongest candidates will be technical Oracle HCM Payroll Developers, rather than functional Oracle consultants. They should be able to demonstrate hands-on development and configuration across Oracle Fusion Payroll, including Fast Formulas, Elements, payroll processing, OIC integrations, SQL/PLSQL and reporting.
