You're stepping into one of the most commercially interesting Oracle Fusion transformations in private markets right now.
This is a 12 month contract, outside IR35, sitting hybrid with a private equity and private markets business that is undergoing a multi-year overhaul of its entire Finance function.
Day to day, you're leading the Oracle Fusion implementation strand of a broader finance transformation programme. You're working closely with Finance and Technology stakeholders, keeping delivery on track, managing workstreams, and making sure the programme moves at the pace the business needs. You'll be the person who understands both the technical Oracle landscape and the finance operations it's meant to serve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The private equity and private markets exposure here is genuine. This isn't a generic corporate transformation. The business is interesting, the stakeholders are sharp, and the work has real commercial weight behind it.
You bring a background in consultancy, which means you know how to land in an environment, get up to speed quickly, and deliver without needing your hand held. You've worked on ERP programmes before and Oracle Fusion specifically is something you know well. Finance transformation at this level is familiar territory for you.
